A city centre development consisting of 9 plots running up the historic footpath of Motherby Hill in Lincoln. The site had considerable constraints with the levels, narrow access and also being on an archaeological scheduled monument.
- Appointed consultants and surveys required for planning including historical boreholes, archaeologists, ground and site investigations as well as environmental assessments.
- Worked with the design team of architects and structural engineers to develop a strategy that could work on the severe slope of the site.
- Chaired and directed the design team to fulfil the requirements of the client, the planners and the strategy laid down by the surveys carried out.
- Appointed contractor and agreed JCT contracts on the works.
- Managed design at all stages including construction drawings, structural drawings, CDP elements, and kitchen designs.
- Developed the specifications to meet the client's requirements.
- Continual monitoring of the contractor through the construction process including cash flow and programming.
- Reported to the stakeholders progress on construction, programme, cash flow, variations and sales.
- Headed up marketing and sales with a local agent. This included hardcopy brochures and leaflets, all social media content, photos and video content.
- Liaised with sales agent and legal team holding regular meetings on all sales.
- Arranged Building Control and Structural Warranty inspections and the issuing of certification.
- Dealt with all snagging and handover processes with the new homeowners and contractors.
- Dealt and managed all Party Wall issues due to the tight boundaries on the site.
